Stephen Benard (Ph.D. Cornell University, 2008) is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Sociology at Indiana University, Bloomington, and a faculty affiliate of Indiana’s Workshop in Political Theory and Policy Analysis. His research and teaching interests include social psychology, gender, work, conflict, and conflict resolution. Recent work has been published in Administrative Science Quarterly, Gender & Society, the Hastings Law Journal, and the American Journal of Sociology. He also speaks on reducing bias in hiring and workplace evaluations.
