Joyce Margulies is the principal in Margulies Employment Law Consulting. She provides legal advice in the area of labor and employment law to businesses locally and on a national level. Previously, she was Chief Counsel, Human Resources with a Fortune 100 company from 1981-2009. Prior to 1981, she was an associate with Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher and Flom in New York City,
Ms. Margulies received her B.A. from the City College of New York and her J.D. from the Fordham University School of Law where she was an Articles Editor on the Fordham Law Review. She has lectured on employment law matters at many professional education seminars, including American Bar Association meetings, the American Employment Law Council, the National Employment Law Institute and the Better Business Bureau of the Mid-South. She is Vice-Chair of the Section of Labor and Employment Law of the American Bar Association and a Fellow of the College of Labor and Employment Lawyers.
