MEDIA ADVISORY

WASHINGTON -- On Thursday, November 21 at 2:30 p.m. Mountain Standard Time, Gilbert F. Casellas, Chairman of the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), will hold a press conference in Denver to announce the details of the settlement of a significant class action age discrimination lawsuit. The suit was filed against a major employer in the Denver area. It alleges that the employer targeted employees age 40 and over for a series of massive layoffs and forced retirements.

The press conference will be held at EEOC's Denver District Office, 303 East 17th Avenue, Suite 510.
