NEXT COMMISSION MEETING THURSDAY, MARCH 15

The U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission

This Equal Employment Opportunity Commission meeting to discuss the FY 2007 Budget Allocations for the State and Local Program has been canceled. The meeting will be re-scheduled in the near future.

WASHINGTON – The U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) will hold its next public meeting on Thursday, March 15, at 1:00 p.m. (Eastern Time), at agency headquarters, 1801 L Street, N.W. In accordance with the Sunshine Act, the following matters are scheduled for consideration:

  • Announcement of Notation Votes
  • FY 2007 Budget Allocation for Fair Employment Practices Agencies (FEPAs) – The annual allocation of funds to FEPA agencies. FEPAs are state and local agencies with which the EEOC maintains contractual worksharing agreements to process charges of employment discrimination under an annual Congressional appropriation.
