Engler

Alex C. Engler is a Fellow at The Brookings Institution, where he studies the implications of artificial intelligence on governance, with a focus on social policy. Engler recently returned from Berlin and Brussels, where he worked on the EU AI Act as a Fulbright-Schuman Innovation Scholar. Engler is also an Associate Fellow at the Center for European Policy Studies and teaches AI policy at Georgetown University. Before Brookings, Engler was faculty at the University of Chicago, where he ran the M.S. in Computational Analysis and Public Policy.
